About

Hello, I’m Dianne Collins, the founder, and my goal for Couch Glue was to create a place where I could share the information I’ve learned writing lifestyle content for many years. I’ve been geeking out on this kind of content for over 17 years and have even written a book about it — that’s how passionate I am! — and now I’m incredibly excited to have my own site, and I hope that the content I provide will keep you glued to your couch! I’ve written for the likes of Dispatch, Variety, and The Daily Chronicle (among others), so I’m pretty confident that I’m at the point in my career where I can provide you with content you’ll love.

I mix in science, psychology, and a whole lot of real-life experience to help you make sense of life — and to have a little fun along the way. The world needs more of that, especially these days, don’t you think? Obviously, I’m not claiming to be a guru or a Nobel Prize-winning scientist, and most of the things I write are a bit more lighthearted, anyway. Everything here is mostly my opinion based on what I’ve learned (save for the stuff I provide scientific sources for, of course). You won’t get a diagnosis from me – that’s your doctor’s job. If anything you read here worries you, reach out and have a chat with them. You can expect to read quick lists that make you think, longer articles that go deeper, and occasionally some big guides to help you navigate life that little bit easier.

If you have any questions, concerns, or suggestions for articles that you’d like to see published, I always love hearing from you! Reach out to me directly at [email protected] at any time. I’m listening, and I’d love to hear your thoughts.
