How To Handle Someone Who Doesn’t Like You

It’s a fundamental truth in life that not everyone is going to like you.

You don’t like everyone, do you? Of course, accepting that you’re not everyone’s cup of tea is easier said than done for a lot of us, and you might take it to heart when it’s clear that someone isn’t really a fan of yours. However, don’t let it get to you. Instead, handle it like this.

1. Don’t take it personally.

Again, not everyone is going to like you, and that’s okay. It doesn’t mean there’s something wrong with you. People have their own reasons for how they feel, and often, it has more to do with them than with you. Letting it affect your self-worth only gives their opinion too much power.
